HOW TO USE TWITTER TO NETWORK BEFORE A CONFERENCE

Last month I went to a search marketing conference. Before the event, I used Twitter Search and Tweetdeck to see who was attending so I could network with them online beforehand and then meet them in person. Here is a video that explains my process. How have you used Twitter to network?

Nice video Mig! We met via this networking effort and I too was impressed with the power of using tools like Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIN to network before, during, and after the conference. This video should definitely get people started in the right direction.

    Hey Mig ….

Don’t leave anything to chance! …. Great idea – Plan ahead and begin your networking early. Conferences can have some really tight schedules so using social media tools will really increase the amount of people you can meet.

    Thanks!
